SNMEC Guide to Transparency and Integrity

SNMEC expects its employees to comply with applicable laws and to maintain the highest ethical standards of business conduct.
This Policy supplements the general provisions of Business Conduct and is designed to help employees comply with the Iraqi laws and legislations related to bribery and corruption. It applies to all directors, officers and employees of SNMEC and any of its construction site(s).

Please note that corruption may occur when dealing with commercial partners as well as Public Officials. Consequently, this Policy applies to the SNMEC’s dealings with counterparties in public, commercial, and private sectors.

 

Compliance Officer Duties

Compliance officer shall perform the following:
1. Collection of evidences.
2. Summon all possible witnesses and gather information from them.
3. Summon suspect(s) and interrogate them.
4. Submit final report to company administration about the final result either the suspect is guilty or not.
5. Check records of new applied employees to know if there is any corruption case reported previously against them.

SNMEC always pushes for improvement and development by correcting any trip or developing procedures to achieve best result by easiest ways.
